Awareness events were held at Daisy Hill and Craigavon Area Hospital to mark World Prematurity Day 2016. 

Both events were supported by Tinylife - Northern Ireland's premature and vulnerable baby charity which is dedicated to reducing premature birth, illness, disability and death in babies born here. 

Staff from the Special Care Baby Unit in Daisy Hill Hospital raised £326.66 through a cake and bun sale and a £440.80 donation was made by the Crilly family to the Neonatal Unit in Craigavon Area Hospital to help raise awareness.

The Southern Health and Social Care Trust would like to thank all those who donated and contributed at both gatherings.
