Shane O'Neill's Club Notes - 3rd Sept 2017
Senior Men
As a result of last week’s win over St Peter’s our senior men have been drawn against the winners of Mullaghbawn and St Paul’s in the quarter-final of the championship. The time, date and venue are all still to be confirmed.

Minor Boys
Monday night sees our minor boys’ amalgamation of Patrick Rankins take on Granemore in the semi-final of the championship in Dorsey at 6:45 pm. All players are asked to meet at the Shane’s no later than 5:40 pm.  The lads also play their last league game of the season at home to Keady on Thursday evening at 7:00 pm and all players are asked to be at the Shane’s for 6:20 pm.

Minor Girls
It was disappointment for our minor girls on Friday night, losing out to Clann Eireann in the championship. Clann Eireann hit the front in the opening minutes and they went on to run-out deserving winners.

U12 Girls
Last Thursday night saw our U12 girls put in a brilliant performance to defeat Granemore by two points in the semi-final of the championship. There was some excellent football on display from both sets of players and after a hard fought first-half the Shane’s girls led by six at the break. Granemore put in a brave effort in the second-half and at one stage were only one point in arrears but the Shane’s held firm, playing right until the final whistle to claim the win, 2 – 7 to 1 – 8. The girls now play Dromintee in the championship final which will take place either this coming Thursday or Friday evening and we would encourage everyone to come along and cheer the girls on. Good luck to all the girls and James Feehan and his management team in the final. Keep an eye on the club’s Facebook page for confirmation of the date, time and venue for the final.

Lotto
Last week’s winning lotto numbers were 11, 19, 22 & 25. There were no jackpot winners and 1 x match three winner. The jackpot now stands at a very impressive £6,450 so why not get yourself a ticket….if you’re not in, you can’t win.
