Shane O'Neill's Club Notes - 16th July 2017

Senior/Minor Ladies

The senior and minor ladies will be training on Tuesday night at 7:00 pm.

Minor Boys
It was disappointment for our minor boys’ amalgamation of Patrick Rankins last Monday night, losing out by a single point to Maghery in a high scoring contest in Lisummon, 5 - 12 to 3 - 17. However, the result could have been a whole lot different if the lads had their shooting boots on as they failed to convert no less than 6 one-on-ones with the Maghery keeper and also hit the post on two occasions. The lads are back in action on Monday night with a home game against Clan na Gael which throws in at 7:30 pm and all players are asked to meet at the club no later than 6:45 pm.

U14 Boys
The U14 boys’ amalgamation of Patrick Rankins have a game away to Pearse Ógs on Tuesday night at 7:15 pm and all players are asked to meet at the club no later than 6:00 pm. Training will continue on Thursday evening from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

U14 Girls
The U14 girls have an away game on Monday night against Killeavy which throws-in at 7:30pm.

U12 Girls
The U12 girls are training on Tuesday and Thursday evening at the field from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

U10s
Due to the fact that the Cúl Camp is running all week they will be no U10 training this week.

Underage Training
Please note that training for all our U6s, U8s, and U12s will take place every Friday night from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the field. All boys and girls at these age groups are very welcome to come along.

Meabh O’Neill’s Camogie
The senior camogs will be training on Monday whilst the underage camogs will train on Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm.

Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp
The club is hosting a Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp which begins on Monday and running right through until next Friday and we hope everyone attending has a great week and enjoys themselves.

Best Wishes
Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Gregory McCabe who suffered a nasty injury during Armagh’s win over Tipperary in the All-Ireland qualifier on Saturday evening.

Barry Kirwan Comes to the Shane's
Irish Country Music sensation Barry Kirwan will be appearing in the marquee at Shane O'Neill's GFC on Saturday 26th August in what promises to be a great night’s entertainment. More details on the event will be available over the coming weeks.

Lotto
Last week’s winning lotto numbers were 6, 25, 28 & 32. There was no jackpot winner and 1 x match three winner. The jackpot now stands at a very impressive £6,100.
