Seeley welcomes Assembly support for health service transformation

Sinn Féin MLA Catherine Seeley has welcomed unanimous Assembly support for the transformation of the health service proposed by Health Minister Michelle O'Neill.

The Sinn Féin Assembly health spokesperson said;

"I welcome the unanimous support shown in the Assembly today for the plan brought forward by my party colleague and health minister Michelle O'Neill for the transformation of the health service.

"The health minister's plans set out proposals for the most radical transformation of our health service in decades and this level of support is encouraging.

"These proposals will have a hugely positive impact on health provision and delivery in our society and it is important that as many people as possible play a role in that process."
