McGuigan welcomes improved Park and Ride facility
Sinn Féin MLA Philip McGuigan has welcomed the official opening of a new improved Park and Ride facility in Ballymoney.
The North Antrim MLA said:
“This new Park and Ride facility will be of great benefit to the local community.
“The Park and Ride now has an additional 46 parking spaces available bringing the total to 104 spaces including six disabled bays.
“The opening of this facility shows the commitment of the Infrastructure Minister Chris Hazzard to promoting more sustainable travel.
“This move will encourage more people out of their cars and onto public transport at the busiest times of the day, reducing road congestion while saving on fuel and parking charges.”
