Due to adverse weather conditions, the County Board meeting will NOT take place tonight – the next meeting will take place on Monday 8th January and the information for this meeting will be communicated in due course. 

 

Best of luck to County Senior player Kate McKay who is taking part in the sleepout in Belfast, this Saturday 16th December for a very worthwhile cause – local homeless charities. Please support Kate. 

 

 

Minor Trials continued yesterday for girls born in 2000/2001 in St. Colman’s Newry and will continue this Sunday 17th December from 12:30 pm - 2 pm. Please try to be there from 12 noon.  Can all clubs please spread the word and encourage all players to participate. 

 

 

Last week of trials for all girls is this SATURDAY 16th December. Venue and date will be confirmed in WhatsApp group and on social media. This is the last trial before the final squad is selected. 

 

 

The final trials took place in St. Colman’s, Newry on Saturday, 9th December. Squad details will be published on social media in the next few days. 

 

 

The U14 girls training continued at the weekend in very cold conditions. However, the girls braved the elements and worked hard throughout, which is much appreciated by the mentors. The bond between the girls is growing week on week, and improvement as a unit is very evident. One final session takes place next weekend before Christmas with challenge games planned for early in the New Year.
