Armagh GAA Fundraising Draw 

Tickets for this Draw are available from any Committee member. We encourage all to support this Fundraising initiative which not only will help develop GAA activities throughout our County but also will see Craobh Rua receiving monies from tickets sold by our Club. We would encourage any member or Club friend seeking a ticket to ensure that it is purchased by next weekend. 

Coaching and Training sessions details are as follows: 

U12 & U14 

Sunday mornings at the Gardens 3G playing pitch. The sessions start at 10.30am and finish at 11:45 am. Lead Coach/Contact Laurence Bradley 07736150103

This will be a skills-based session and as ever if any new players wish to come onboard there will be hurls and helmets available for use. 

Under 10s (Primary 5 & 6) coaching and training sessions take place each Monday night 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm in The Gardens 3G pitch in Bessbrook. Lead Coach/Contact Joe McEldowney 07764193978.The next scheduled Hurling Blitz date for this age group in Dundalk is Sunday 11th February. 

Under 8s (Primary 3 & 4) takes place each Monday night 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm at St. Paul's Highschool Sports Hall. Lead Coach / Contact Micheál Bradley 07907219639.  Please note the next Blitz for this age group is scheduled for next Sunday the 4th February (10 am to 12) Players, Parents/Guardians will be advised of details

Rua Ógs (Primary 1 & 2)

Our newly structured hurling nursery Rua Ógs (Primary 1 and 2) coaching continues each Monday night 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm at St. Paul's Highschool Gymnasium. Lead Coach/Contact Damien Britton 0770679917

Please note these sessions are £2 each for those who are not signed up cairde members. Parents/Guardians should not hesitate to contact the appropriate Underage Team Mentors for any further information. 

Membership Registration will take place each Monday over the next four weeks in St Pauls 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Feel free to seek further information from Craobh Rua coaches and Coiste members in attendance. Craobh Rua Camlocha extends an invitation to all from our community who might wish to participate in and hopefully enjoy in our Clubs activities.

Foundation Coaching Course 

Friday evening 23rd (Child Protection) & Saturday morning 24th February (foundation)

Cost £10 per person. Venue Craobh Rua Clubrooms 

Referees Course

The Referees Foundation course will be held on; 

Thursday 8th February

Monday 12th February

at 7:30 pm in the Ceannaras at the Athletic Grounds.

All clubs are expected to have a certified referee for each age group U8-U18

PLEASE NOTE - In order to be certified as a referee AND take charge of ANY games in 2018 you must

1.) Be an existing Referee AND COMPLETE the Referees in Service course

or

2.) Complete ALL elements of the Referees Foundation Course.

Craobh Rua Under 12s had a great day out on Sunday at the DKIT indoor Hurling Blitz with teams from Armagh, Monaghan, Cavan and Louth taking part. Well done all involved and míle buíochas to the organisers. Pictured are some of our young hurlers who attended.
