The club would like extend thier deepest sympathy to the McComb family on the sudden death of thier sister Margaret. Margaret in her younger teenage years was extremely talented across all levels of sport. A highlight for herself and her club was when Margaret stared in the 1976 All Ireland Camogie final when Down lifted the honours. Margaret later moved to London where she settled along sides some of her brothers and sisters, Magaret never forgot her roots, and on a recent return the "town" she got to walk around "bunkers hill", a place she spent alot of her childhood. Margaret is survived by her brothers Paddy, Tommy, Davy, Chuck and Keven, and sister Kate. May she rest in peace. 

 

Nursery to P6 coaching for boys and girls in all codes commences in St Malachys HS on Sat March 25th at 10am. Bring indoor and outdoor gear. We will be at the school for 3 weeks and the cost will be £5. Registration is now due for the year on line at www.castlewellangac.com. See you on 25th.

 

The 2017 Cycle Against Suicide is fast approaching, Have you registered yet? Or could you offer a tired cyclist a bed as they pass through the town spreading the message "It's OK Not To Feel OK". Let's all get involved and help out organiser and our own Senior ladies footballer Lisa Morgan in what is no doubt a great cause. Anyone willing to help please contact Lisa via Facebook. 

 

Our Under 14 and Under 16 footballer's training begin this week. The Under 14's begin on Monday night at 6.15pm and the Under 16's on Thursday night at 6.15pm. Both sessions will be in the Bann Road.

 

U14/16 girls football training Tuesday and Thursday at 7:15 on, everyone welcome old and new. 

 

Membership is now due, all players should be aware that it MUST be paid before anyone is able to field for any of our club teams, please consult with your management to arrange payment.

Club gear can now be ordered, forms can be found in Facebook, Twitter, the club website or in the clubrooms, orderforms to be completed and handed in before the deadline on April 2nd.
