Boyle encourages disability groups to make their voices heard

Sinn Féin MLA Michaela Boyle has encouraged disability support groups to help shape legislation at the Assembly.

The Sinn Féin spokesperson on disabilities said;

"People with disabilities face many issues and it is important their views are listened to and taken into account.

"As Sinn Féin spokesperson on disability issues I have written to a range of disability groups offering to meet them to listen to their ideas and discuss their concerns.

"It is important the views of those involved in the disability sector are considered when legislation is being shaped.

"I have arranged meetings with several groups already and I'm looking forward to meeting them and others in the coming weeks and months to discuss their views."
