 Police in Newry, investigating an attempted robbery at Buttercrane Quay on Sunday 14^th May, have charged a 22 year old man with a number of offences including attempted robbery, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence and assault on police. He is due to appear at Newry MC on Monday 15^th May. As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the PPS.
