29th June 2017, Rita Cairns passed away peacefully at Woodlodge Nursing Home. Rita, late of 3 Shimna Road, Newcastle, dearly beloved wife of the late Brendan, loving mother of Olga, Jane, Tina, Roy and Sarah, cherished sister of Frank and Dymphna and devoted grandmother. 

 

Her remains are reposing at her residence until 11:45 am on Saturday July 1, 2017 when she will leave for 12 noon Requiem Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Newcastle with interment following in the family burial ground at St Mary's Cemetery. 

 

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing children, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, brother, sister and large family circle.
