Canon Jarlath CUSHENAN Newry

16th February 2018, Very Rev. Canon Jarlath Cushenan passed away surrounded by family members and friends in The Parochial House Warrenpoint. Jarlath, son of the late Hugh and Catherine Cushenan, Canal Street, Newry and brother of the late Patsy, Desmond, Maureen, Philomena, Colman, Brendan, Una (McNulty), Angela (McElroy).

Deeply regretted by his sisters Pauline (O'Hanlon), Kathleen (Meehan) and brother-in-law Joe and his many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. Also, deeply regretted by the Most Rev Bishop John McAreavey, the priests, deacons, religious of the Diocese of Dromore and parishioners of his former parish of Clonduff.

His remains are reposing in the Parochial House Warrenpoint until 6:00 pm on Sunday. Removal to St John's the Evangelist Church Hilltown. Remains reposing in St John's from after Monday morning Mass 9:15 am until 11:45 am. Requiem Mass at 12:00 noon. Interment afterwards in St Mary's cemetery Newry.
